`Dear Judge Ramos:
`
`We represent Defendant Thorne Research, Inc. (“Thorne”) in the above-referenced
`matter. Thorne, through undersigned counsel, respectfully submits this letter pursuant to Rule
`1.E of Your Honor’s Individual Practices to request an extension of time until July 6, 2021 to
`answer or otherwise respond to Plaintiff’s Complaint.
`
`Counsel for Thorne is evaluating the Complaint and Thorne requests an extension of
`time of 30 days, from June 3, 2021 to July 6, 2021 to file its responsive pleading. This is the first
`request for an extension or adjournment.
`
`Defendant’s counsel has conferred with Plaintiffs’ counsel, who does not oppose this
`request. Because this litigation is still in its early stages and the Court has yet to issue a
`scheduling order, the requested extension does not affect any other scheduled dates.
`
