`The parties requested, by email, a conference call which was held on
`November 16, 2016, before Administrative Patent Judges Perry, Scanlon and
`Lee. Both parties were represented by their respective counsel.
`The parties brought to our attention that one or more orders recently
`issued by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in
`on-going parallel litigation may be relevant to a Request for Rehearing of
`our Decision to Institute pending before us (Paper 14). These orders issued
`too late to be included with Patent Owner’s Response, recently filed.
`In view of the potential relevance of the District Court orders, we
`hereby authorize a special filing by either or both of the parties to submit
`those orders in our proceeding. Only the orders themselves are to be filed.
`No other papers or explanations are to accompany the filing.
