`
`PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the system stand continuous drive improving the
`energy efficiency, and obtain proper torque on two crive shafis. SOLUTION: A motor
`MG1 and MG2 are attached respectively to the sun gear 33 and the ring gear 37 of the
`planetary gear 34 which carries and inputs the drive power of the engine 22 to divide it
`in a constant torque ratio. The ring gear shaft 37 is connected to the shaft 50 of the
`front wheels, and the shaft 60 of the rear wheels is connected to a motor MGS. The
`motor MG1, MG2, and MG3 are controlled to output the power of the engine 22 in a
`desired torque ratio to the front shaft 50 and the rear shaft 60 without charging/
`discharging the secondary battery 70 or to outouf the powerof the engine 22 and the
`charging/discharging power of the secondary battery 70 in a desired torque ratio fo the
`front shaft 50 and the rear shaft 60, As a resull, the energy efficiency of the systemis
`improved and the torque is more appropriately oulputied to the two drive shafts.
