`I, the undersigned, am an attorney representing Respondent, the People of the

`State of California, and hereby move for an extension of time to file Respondent’s
`Brief to August 25, 2021.

`The Clerk’s Transcript consists of approximately 130 pages and the
`Reporter’s Transcript consists of approximately 46 pages.

` In addition to this appeal, I am working on two other appeals, People v.
`Muzaffar, due June 30, 2021 and People v. Thompson, due August 11, 2021.

`I am also assisting with writ returns to the Supreme Court (Waer) and writing
`oppositions (40) and appearing (36) on 1382 motions in Department 22.
`5. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been disruptions to the normal
`course of business.
`6. There has been no previous requests for extension by Respondent.

`Attorney’s Office (SFDA) for collecting and processing electronic and physical
