`Anarbitration in this matter was originally scheduled to be held in the office of the arbitrator, Kevin J.
`Holl, on September 22, 2011. Defendant Alfredo Valerafailed to appear for the arbitration hearing and
`plaintiff agreed to continue the hearing to another date. The arbitration was thensetto occur on October 20,
`2011.
`
`On October 20, 2011, Elizabeth A. MacDonald, Esq. appearedat 2:00 p.m. on behaif of Allstate
`Insurance Company, By 2:25 p.m., Mr. Valera had not appearedandthe arbitration hearing was concluded.
`
`Based upon the evidence submitted by Allstate throughits arbitration brief and attached exhibits, the
`arbitrator finds that defendant was the ownerofa carthat collided with a vehicle insured by Allstate; that
`defendant’s vehicle caused damageto the vehicle insured by Allstate; and that Allstate paid $3,497.40 to repair
`its insured’s vehicle.
`In concert with costs of $335 requested by Allstate under CCP §§ 1021; 1032: and
`1033.5 andinterest of $319.59 requested by Allstate pursuant to CCP § 3287(a), the total amountofthe
`damages awarded to Allstate Insurance Company and against Mr. Valeratotals $4,151.99,
