`MC-031-Item 3 Attachment
`
`1. On or about September 5, 2025, after the tenant of record (my former boyfrlend) was incarcerated, the defendant,
`Ms. Liu Bi Shan (landlord), changed the locks of the rental unit and suddenly kicked me off without providing me
`with proper notice as required under California law, forcibly excluding me from the premises.
`
`2. The defendant may claim that my belongings were returned to me on one occasion. However, this is not accurate.
`On or about August 4, 20285, | was given only 24 hours to remove all of my personal items from the rental unit. During
`this time, the police were present at the premises to collect evidence, and all of my belongings—regardless of
`
`importance—were dumped together in a disorganized manner. And total give meless than 4 hours (within the first 24 hours after notitying me) to gather allof my belonging +
`
`Due to this chaotic situation, | could not locate or retrieve many essential items
`
`My property was returned is therefore misleading if the defendant’s may claim that, as | did not receive or have
`access to all of my possessions. The rapid forced eviction and mishandling of my belongings made it impossible to
`recover them within the time allowed, and has caused significant emotional distress. Moreover, the time she gave me
`that is a total of less than four hours to gather all of my belongings, which was completely insufficient.
`
`3. | did request additional time to retrieve my belongings, including sending messages to Patrick Jun Wei Lin via
`WweChat, asking those living with him to notify him, and sending messages to the intermediary provided by the
`defendant (my ex-boyfriend's current girifriend). Despite these repeated efforts, the defendant refused to allow me
`to retrieve my personal belongings, including but not limited to:
`
`- Multiple passports, driver's licenses, and identification cards from different countries (Hong Kong passport & 1D,
`U.K. passport, Canadian driver's license).
`
`- Dior handbag and its purchase receipt.
`
`- mementos, letters, and hand-crafted commemorative gifts from a deceased friend, which are irreplaceable. Some
`of these items were uniquely made by the friend specifically for me, and in order to replace them, | would have to
`commission high-cost custom reproductions.
`
`4. | requested the return of my belongings, but the defendant refused direct communication with me. Instead, she
`used my ex-boyfriend's current girifrlend (who was once my close friend) as an intermediary to deliver messages.
`This made the situation extremely distressing and worsened my emotional condition.
`
`B8.. 1 have suffered bilateral leg fractures (tibia and fibula) since late 2023, which have severely limited my mobility
`and made daily life significantly more difficult.
`
`6.. Due to my injury, | rely on long-term use of strong pain medications (Tramadol, Lyrica) to manage chronic pain.
`7. Because of my physical limitations, | had to invest considerably more time and money than others to take driving
`lessons and practice for my driver's license.
`
`The defendant's actions caused me to lose access to my driver's license, which | had worked hard and spent
`significant resources to obtain.
`
`8. Losing my driver's license and personal documents, coupled with the forced lockout from my residence, has
`greatly worsened my emotional distress, exacerbated my PTSD symptoms, and impaired my ability to manage daily
`activities.

`9. As a result of the sudden lockout and the r
