`The Copyright/Copy Claim Affidavit Under Constructive Notice sent by the defendant Donatien Masala
`to plaintiff Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC on December 18, 2016, setting forth 64 questions to be
`answered was not a lawful or proper request for discovery under Chapter 13 of the Practice Book
`because it was sent approximately ten weeks prior to the commencement of this civil action having a
`return date of February 7, 2017. "Written Interrogatories may be served upon any party without leave of
`the judicial authority at any time after the return day." Practice Book § 13-6(a).Requests for production
`may be served upon any party without leave of the judicial authority at any time after the return day."
`Practice Book § 13-9(c). The sanctions for noncompliance under Practice Book § 13-14 apply only to
`interrogatories and/or production requests lawfully filed under Sections 13-6 and/or 13-9 of the Practice
`Book.
