`Joaquin Silvia, defendant in the above—entit1ed action, hereby moves the Court to extend

`the law day in the above matter to September 19, 2016. The law day has been currently set for

`July 18, 2016.

`The defendant is in the process of negotiating a short sale with Ocwen Bank, the
`
`successor plaintiff. They have a signed contract for the property and are in the process of
`
`negotiating with Ocwen Bank for a short sale. All documents requested by the Plaintiff have
`
`been submitted.
`
`Accordingly, the defendant respectfully requests that the Court extend the law day to
`
`September 19, 2016 in order to provide him with the opportunity to complete the short sale
`
`process.
