`On or about March 1, 2024, the Plaintiff, Robert Cohen,as Landlord, and the

`Defendants, Dawn Potter and Gary Krostoski, as Tenants, entered into an oral month-to-

`month lease for use and occupancyofthe following premises:

`579 Burritt Street, Apt. # 2S, New Britain, CT 06053

`The Defendants, Dawn Potter and Gary Krostoski, agreed to pay the monthly
`
`rental of $775.00, payable on the first day of each month.
`

`The Defendants, Dawn Potter and Gary Krostoski, took possession of the
`
`premises pursuantto the lease, andstill occupy the premises.
`
`4.

`The Defendants, Dawn Potter and Gary Krostoski, have failed to pay the rent
`
`due underthe lease on March 1, 2024 andthereafter.

`On August 12, 2024,the Plaintiff caused a Notice to Quit Possession to be

`served on the Defendants to vacate the premises on or before August 19, 2024 as required by
`
`law.

`Although the time given in the Notice to Quit Possession ofthe premises has
