`On January 02, 2024, the Plaintiff purchased the property known as 832 North Main Street in
`Waterbury, Connecticut.
`
`The Defendant remained in possession of the premises after the transferoftitle. There is a written
`month-to-month lease that was carried over from the prior owner, which was renewed on
`consecutive months thereafter, for use and occupancy ofthe following premises occupied by the
`Defendant.
`
`832 North Main Street (Unit 1) Waterbury, Connecticut 06704
`
`In the lease, the Defendant agreed to pay a monthly rent of $1,000.00, payable on the FIRST day
`of each month.
`
`On January 1, 2024, and prior thereto, and for the 9 days following as allowedbystatute, the
`Defendant failed to pay the rent due under the lease.
`
`On February 28, 2024, the Plaintiff caused a Notice to Quit Possession to be served on the
`Defendantto vacate the premises on or before March 11, 2024, as required by law. A copy ofthe
`Notice to Quit and the State of Connecticut Notice of Right to Counsel Program (CT-RTC)is
`attached hereto.

`Although the time given in the Notice to Quit Possession of the premises has passed, the
`Defendant continues to be in possession.
`
`WHEREFORE: THE PLAINTIFF CLAIMS JUDGMENT FOR IMMEDIATEPOSSESSION.
