`About
`After high school, I went to Miami University of Ohio and
`received undergraduate bachelor degrees in Manufacturing
`Engineering and Engineering Management. From there, I
`entered into Caterpillar's Manufacturing Professionals
`Development Program. For 3 years, I had a different job in a
`different state for a different business unit within
`Caterpillar. If I include co-ops and internships, I have lived
`in 6 different states so far: Ohio, Florida, Illinois, South
`Carolina, North Carolina, & Arkansas. After the MPDP
`program, I worked in Caterpillar's Precision Pin Products
`Group as a CNC & Robotics Programmer for 4-1/2yrs. In
`Sumter, I programmed robots to manufacture pins that
`hold machine joints together. We had lathes, machine

`centers, grinders, heat treat units, robotic welding and
`plating operations. I was then promoted to a
`Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor position, and later
`an ME Manager position, in Sanford, NC where we
`produced 150 Skid Steer Loaders per day. Manufacturing
`Engineers now worked directly for me and, after 7 years of
`process improvements, my team was able to make Sanford
`one of the most efficient assembly processes in all
`Caterpillar. From there, I was promoted to be the ME
`Department Head for the North Little Rock facility. In NLR, I
`am now in charge of multiple departments including
`Logistics, Fabrications, and Assembly as well as the facility
`Black Belts. Here we make Motor Graders, Wheel Loaders,
`Cold Planers, Military Equipment, & Rotary Mixers.
`Although this is my most challenging assignment yet, I am
`excited to see the impact that I will be able to make at the
`department head level. My team has already started to
`make positive changes within the facility to put us back on
`top as one of Caterpillar's lead facilities.
