`Hansjörg Hauser’s expertise is molecular biology with emphasis on gene regulation.
`His activities in mammalian cell research concern the genetic engineering of cells
`with regard to protein expression (cell line development). He is involved in the
`development of technologies for cell screening and its rational design of expression
`parameters. The applications concern protein production and gene/cell therapies. His
`interests in basic research concern regulation of viral infection and the interferon
`system.
