`ORDER OF CHIEF JUDGE CONTINUING SUSPENSION OF
`PROCEDURAL SCHEDULE PENDING FILING OF SETTLEMENT
`

`On December 22, 2003, the Chief Judge held the procedural schedule in these 
`consolidated proceedings in abeyance pending action of the Commission on the 
`numerous pending settlements and motions to dismiss.  The Chief Judge ordered the 
`parties to advise him within five days of Commission approval of all pending settlements 
`and motions to dismiss in order that a procedural schedule can be established for the 
`distribution phase of these proceedings.  
`
`On January 14, 2008, counsel for the Commission Trial Staff (Trial Staff) reported
`that the Commission, on January 8, 2008, approved the last pending settlement in these 
`proceedings.  Trial Staff further reported that the parties have been meeting informally in 
`an attempt to settle this matter.  On January 15, 2008, at an informal conference with the 
`Chief Judge, the parties reported that they have reached a settlement in principle which 
`will dispose of all issues in this distribution phase of the proceedings.  The parties 
`committed to filing the settlement on or before April 11, 2008.  
`
`Accordingly, for good cause shown, the procedural schedule in these proceedings 
`continues in suspension pending the filing of the settlement agreement.  If the settlement 
`is not filed by April 11, 2008, the parties are directed to report to the Chief Judge on the 
`status of these proceedings on that date.  An electronic copy of such report shall be
