`Basis for Intervening:
`Pursuant to Rules 212 and 214 of the Rules of Practice and Procedure, 18 C.F.R.
`§§ 385.212 and 385.214, of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (the
`âCommissionâ), Avangrid Renewables, LLC (âAvangrid Renewablesâ) hereby
`moves to intervene in the above-captioned proceedings. Avangrid Renewables is a
`non-transmission owning public utility engaged, directly and through its
`subsidiaries and affiliates, in the development of wind and thermal energy
`facilities, natural gas and electric marketing, gas storage and hub services,
`and in providing other energy services. Avangrid Renewables, with its
`affiliates and subsidiaries, has several renewable energy projects, both
`existing and in development, that will be impacted. Avangrid Renewables has a
`direct interest in this proceeding and has a right to intervene to protect its
`interests. The interests of Avangrid Renewables cannot be adequately
`represented by any other party. For the foregoing reasons Avangrid Renewables
`respectfully moves that the Commission grant this motion to intervene and permit
`Avangrid Renewables to participate as a party in the above-captioned
`proceedings.
