`RE: Crane Valley Hydroelectric Project, FERC No. 1354-CA
`Article 416 Bass Lake Level Management Plan
`Request for Extension of Time
`
`
`
`Dear Secretary Bose:
`
`On February 1, 2012, Pacific Gas and Electric Company received Federal Energy
`Regulatory Commission approval for the Bass Lake Level Management Plan (Plan)
`pursuant to License Article 416 and United States Forest Service (USFS) 4e Condition No.
`10 of the Crane Valley Hydroelectric Project license (FERC No. 1354). The Plan requires,
`in part, interested parties review the Plan in five-year intervals to determine if any changes
`are needed to address the management of lake levels at the project.
`
`On December 6, 2022, PG&E informed the Bass Lake Stakeholders, via email, a public
`video conference was scheduled to review the Plan on December 21, 2022. During the
`December 21st meeting, newly involved stakeholders requested additional time to review
`and provide comments for a more comprehensive Plan review, currently due, February 1,
`2023.
`
`To allow adequate time for stakeholder review and comment and for PG&E response,
`PG&E respectfully requests an extension of time to file the Plan with FERC by March 23,
`2023.
`
`Should you have questions concerning this matter, please contact Paul Carson, license
`coordinator for PG&E, at (628) 249-5036.
`
`Sincerely,
`
`
`
`Michelle Ocken
