`Dear Mr. Blackett:

`This letter presents an update on the status of Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E)
`overdue items identified in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) letters to
`PG&E dated July 20, September 16, and November 24, 2020 for the above-listed projects.
`The status of each overdue item is provided in enclosure 1.
`
`These letters have underscored the importance of timely response in FERC
`correspondence and PG&E is taking several steps to address all of the overdue and
`coming due items including:
`

`• Developed a multi-phase action plan to establish and maintain compliance with
`regulatory filings.
`• Performed two cause evaluations to investigate the reason for these overdue items
`to exist.
`Implementing corrective actions including increasing resources for our License
`Compliance and Dam Safety teams.
`Issued procedures to provide guidance and expectations on responding to
`regulatory correspondence.
`• Established governance that ensures that any compliance deviation (including
`overdue items) is captured in our Corrective Action Program.
`• Developing tools, metrics, and goals to give transparency to leaders and workers
`for tracking compliance work to completion.
`• Performed independent internal (PG&E), and external (Dam Safety Advisory
`Board), reviews of the 68 overdue items to evaluate risk significance and verify
`PG&E's plan to prevent recurrence.
`
`
`The PG&E plan and schedule for the overdue items included in the subject letters is
`included in Enclosure 1 that presents a summary table listing the FERC referenced 68
`overdue items, along with the status of PG&E’s efforts and updated schedules to address
`these items. By way of this letter, PG&E respectfully requests an Extension of Time (EOT)
`for those items identified in the column designated, “Extension of Time Being Requested
`w/ this Letter" of Enclosure 1.
`
