`This letter presents Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) updated plan and schedule to
`address Recommendation 3 (R-3) from the 11th 5-year Part 12D safety inspection report
`(dated December 2019) for Balch Afterbay Dam, which is part of PG&E’s Balch Hydroelectric
`Project, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) No. 175. PG&E submitted the
`original plan and schedule to address R-3 to FERC on February 10, 2020. PG&E provided the
`most recent status update for R-3 to FERC in a letter dated September 15, 2021.
`
`PG&E’s updated plan and schedule to further address the recommendation is enclosed with
`this letter for FERC’s review (Enclosure 1).
`
