`I am writing to you regarding Atlantic Bridge Project FERC Docket #PF15-12-000.
`There is no part of me that can comprehend the decision that the Fore River
`basin is the best place for this compressor station. Just one visit to the
`area , or even a quick Google maps view ,will make it perfectly clear that we
`are saturated with industrial activity and have absolutely no need to construct
`a natural gas compressor station within 100 feet of a densely populated area. I
`bought my first house 6 years ago on Wessagussett Road. My husband and I were
`married and both laid off that year. We did everything we could to keep this
`house. The neighborhood was not the best. We have had our fair share of issues
`with regard to drug use in the neighborhood and were contemplating leaving this
`perfect little house right by the water but with the housing market as it were,
`we couldnât have sold if we ever wanted to rebuy. But then things changed.
`Houses started getting flipped and families starting moving in. New businesses
`started popping up and with that came increase in house prices. We were no
`longer underwater on our mortgage. Now imagine how you would feel if this house
`you worked tooth and nail to keep and this neighborhood you have finally started
`to see move forward was all for naught? Who in their right mind would buy a home
`within a mile of a natural gas compressor station? No one would because no one
`has ever seen a house within a mile of a compressor station, let alone almost
`1000 houses within half a mile. It is unprecedented. You act as if we donât
`matter. You are purposely trying to confuse the community with the addition of
`new pipeline initiatives and by changing the horsepower requirement with no
`notice. You feel as if this community is just in the way of your big plan. Well
`I can assure, this community will be in your way. We will fight you. We will not
`stand idly by and watch our neighborhood be destroyed by corporate greed. North
`Weymouth has been inundated with industry and drug use, but we have persevered.
`Home prices are on the rise, local businesses are thriving and you will not
`destroy this for us. I will scream from every rooftop and to any news channel
`who will listen that Spectra has plans to destroy an Overburdened Community.
