`In Re: Jordan Cove Energy Project and Pacific Connector Pipeline
`A 230mile pipeline from Klamath to Coos Bay, Oregon will cross 400 bodies of
`water and impact 29 threatened or endangered species. It will ruin our wildlife
`areas and pollute our water. Why?
`â ¦Just so gas producers can sell their natural gas toâ ¦Asia???
`FERC must consider the climatechanging pollution that would be generated by all
`aspects of this project. FERC must consider the direct, indirect, and cumulative
`impact of fracked and conventional gas production, transport, liquefaction, and
`end use, including the contribution of leaked methane gas to the overall carbon
`pollution from these proposals.
`FERC must consider the potential outcome of siting an explosive LNG export
`facility in a subduction earthquake zone and a tsunami evacuation area. This is
`an imminent, inevitable catastrophic environmental disaster.
`Please, please, please do not endanger our waterways, our wild terrain, our
`populace to appease natural gas producers and transporters who only want to sell
`out to another continent.
`Sincerely,
`Drema Telfer
`Redmond, Oregon
