`MOTION FOR LEAVE TO AMEND PLAINTIFF’S COMPLAINT
`
`COMES NOW, the Plaintiff, MICHELLE T. MARTIN, by and through undersigned
`
`counsel, and files this Motion for Leave to Amend Plaintiff’s Complaint and in support thereof,
`
`states as follows:
`
`1. Plaintiff filed a Verified Complaint for Unlawful Detainer in County Court on July 20,
`
`2022 (Case No. 2022-CC-011685-O); Defendant was served on August 11, 2022 and
`
`filed an Answer on August 18, 2022.
`
`2. County Court Judge Amy J. Carter entered an Order of Transfer to Circuit Court for
`
`Ejectment Proceedings on August 22, 2022.
`
`3. The case was transferred to Circuit Court and issued the within Case Number on August
`
`23, 2033.
`
`4. Accordingly, Plaintiff requests leave of Court to amend her Complaint for Unlawful
`
`Detainer to a Complaint for Ejectment, in accordance with the Order of Transfer.
`
`5. This request is made in good faith and not for the purpose of delay, and neither party will
`
`be prejudiced by the granting of this Motion.

`6. A copy of Plaintiff’s Amended Complaint for Ejectment is attached and incorporated as
`
`Exhibit A.
`
`WHEREFORE, Plaintiff respectfully requests this Court enter an Order Granting
`
`Plaintiff’s Motion for Leave to Amend, that the Plaintiff’s Complaint for Ejectment attached
`
`hereto be entered of record with the Court as of the date of the Order, and for such other and
`
`further relief as the Court deems just and proper.
