`Re: H.R. 2583: Country of Origin Marking: Golf Clubs and Golf Club CompckegLs "

`
`Dear Ms. Koehnke,
`
`It is our understanding that the U.S. International Trade Commission is reviewing, at the request
`of Congress, H.R. 2583, introduced by Representative Cunningham and co-sponsored by
`Representative Packard. This Legislation would amend the Tariff Act of 1930 with respect to the
`marking of finished golf clubs and golf club components.
`
`One of the largest U.S. manufacturers of goU'clubs, strongly supports the passage of this
`legislation. By providing certainty to the marking rules or origin requirements and reducing the
`regulatory burden of complying with the various current marking requirements, this legislation
`will assist the U.S. premium golf club rnanufhcturers succeed in the international world of
`business.
`
`We greatly appreciate your consideration of these comments and trust that you will advise us if
`we can provide any hrther information.
