`
`Dear Dr. Arunachalam:
`
`
`The Commission is in receipt of your October 17, 2017, letter requesting a postponement of
`the deadline by which the Commission must decide whether to institute a Section 337 investigation
`concerning Certain IoT Devices and Components Thereof (IoT, the Internet of Things – Web
`Applications Displayed on a Web Browser) (Docket No. 3263).
`
`
`Under Commission Rule 210.10(a)(1), 19 C.F.R. § 210.10(a)(1), the Commission may extend
`the deadline for voting on institution of an investigation based upon a request by a complainant. Rule
`210.10(a)(4), 19 C.F.R. § 210.10(a)(4), authorizes the Commission to reschedule the determination
`on institution "for whatever date is appropriate in light of the facts."
`
`The Commission has determined to postpone its vote on institution, and has determined that
`the new deadline is set for November 21, 2017. Please keep the Office of Unfair Import
`Investigations ("OUII") apprised of the status of your complaint.
`
`
`
`Sincerely,
`
`
`
`
`
