`
`Dear Dr. Arunachalam:
`
`The Commission is in receipt of your November 30, 2017, email requesting a postponement
`of the deadline by which the Commission must decide whether to institute a Section 337
`investigation conceming Certain IoT Devices and Components Thereof (IoT, the Internet of
`Things —Web Applications Displayed on a Web Browser) (Docket No. 3263).
`'
`
`the Commission may extend
`Under Commission Rule 2l0.l0(a)(l), 19 C.F.R. § 2l0.l0(a)(l),
`the deadline for voting on institution of an investigation based upon a request by a complainant. Rule
`2l0.lO(a)(4), 19 C.F.R. § 210.l0(a)(4), authorizes the Commission to reschedule the determination
`on institution "for whatever date is appropriate in light of the facts."
`
`The Commission has determined to postpone its vote on institution, and has detennined that
`the new deadline is set for January 9, 2018. Postponing the vote ‘onwhether to institute would
`provide you with additional time to address the issues raised by OUII in its November 28, 2017
`letter, and for OUII to consider any additional information that you submit. Please keep the Office of
`Unfair Import Investigations ("OUII") apprised of the status of your amended complaint.
