`MEDIATION AND SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE

`On October 3, 2018, Respondent Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. and Complainant 10X
`
`Genomics, Inc. filed a joint motion to modify the procedural schedule to extend the deadlines for
`
`mediation and to combine the second settlement conference with the mediation (Motion Docket
`
`No. 1100-O18). The Commission Investigative Staff does not oppose the motion.
`
`Pursuant to Order No. 17 (Sept. 19, 2018), the deadline for mediation was extended to
`
`October 17, 2018. The private parties submit that they were unable to schedule a mediation with
`
`their preferred mediator until October 30, 2018. They further submit that this mediation Will
`
`obviate the need for a second settlement conference, currently scheduled for November 2, 2018.
`
`There being no opposition and for good cause shown, Motion Docket No. 1100-O18is
`
`hereby GRANTED. Thedeadlines in the procedural schedule are hereby modified for a one-day
`
`mediation on October 30, 2018, Withthe joint report due November 9, 2018. The second
`
`settlement conference is hereby removed from the procedural schedule.
`
