`SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given that the US. International Trade Commission has
`determined not to review an initial determination (“ID”) (Order No. 26) of the presiding
`Administrative Law Judge (“ALJ”) extending the target date for completion of the above-
`captioned investigation because of the government shutdown.
`

`SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Commission instituted the investigation on July
`23, 2018, based on a complaint filed by SnapRays, LLC d/b/a SnapPower of Vineyard, UT. 83
`FR 34871 (July 23, 2018). The complaint, as supplemented, alleges a Violation of section 337
`of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, 19 U.S.C. § 1337, based upon the importation into the
`United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of
`certain powered cover plates by reason of infringement of certain claims of US. Patent Nos.
`9,871,324; 9,917,430; and 9,882,361, and US. Design Patent No. D819,426. The notice of
`investigation named numerous respondents. The Commission’s Office of Unfair Import
`Investigations was also named as a party.

`On February 14, 2019, the ALJ issued the subject ID (Order No. 26). The ALJ noted the
`previously scheduled date for issuing the final ID on Violation in this investigation was June 7,
`2019. Order No. 26 at 1 (citing Order No. 3 (Aug. 9, 2018)). The ALJ determined, due to the
`government shutdown, to extend the target date for completion of the investigation to
`December 12, 2019, with the final ID on violation due no later than close of business on
`
`August, 12, 2019.
`
`The authority for the Commission’s determination is contained in section 337 of the
`Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (19 U.S.C. § 1337), and in Part 210 of the Commission’s Rules
`of Practice and Procedure (19 CPR. Part 210).
`
