UNITED STATES INTERNATIONAL TRADE COMMISSION
`WASHINGTON, DC
`
`Before the Honorable Clark S. Cheney
`Administrative Law Judge
`
`In the Matter of:
`
`CERTAIN VARIABLE SPEED WIND
`TURBINE GENERATORS AND
`COMPONENTS THEREOF
`
`Investigation No. 337-TA-1218
`
`UNOPPOSED MOTION OF THIRD-PARTY TPI COMPOSITE, INC.
`SEEKING AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO RESPOND TO
`SUBPOENA DUCES TECUM AND AD TESTIFICANDUM
`
`I. Ground Rule 5.1 Certification
`
`Pursuant to Ground Rule 5.1, counsel for third-party TPI Composite, Inc. (“TPI”) certifies
`
`that they have conferred with the Complainant prior to filing this motion. Complainant does not
`
`oppose this motion.
`
`II. Motion for Extension of Time
`
`Pursuant to Commission Rule 210.15(d) and Ground Rule 5, TPI respectfully submits this
`
`unopposed motion to extend the deadline to respond to the Subpoenas Duces Tecum and Ad
`
`Testificandum (“the Subpoenas”) served on December 4, 2020. The current deadline to respond
`
`to the Subpoena Duces Tecum is December 21, 2020 and the Subpoena Ad Testificandum is
`
`January 22, 2021. TPI respectfully requests an extension to respond to the Subpoena Duces Tecum
`
`to January 8, 2021, as agreed upon by the parties.
`
`Good cause exists for this requested extension because it will allow TPI time to fully
`
`evaluate the Subpoenas and to compile information in light of the time needed to retrieve the
`
`necessary files and review them. In addition, it will allow TPI more time to collect information
`
`

`

`and documents in light of anticipated reduced personnel availability during the holiday period.
`
`Moreover, no party will suffer any prejudice because of the proposed extension, as this motion is
`
`unopposed, and it is still relatively early in fact discovery.
`
`For the foregoing reasons, TPI respectfully requests an extension of time to January 8,
`
`2021, to respond to the Subpoena Duces Tecum.
`
`December 10, 2020
`
`
`
`Respectfully submitted,
