`On May 9, 2022, Complainants Copan Italia S.p.A. and Copan Industries, Inc. and
`
`Respondents Wuxi NEST Biotechnology Co., Ltd., NEST Scientific Inc., NEST Scientific USA,
`
`Jiangsu Changfeng Medical Industry Co., Ltd., BioTeke Corporation (Wuxi) Co., Ltd.,
`
`Miraclean Technology Co., Ltd., and Huachenyang (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd. filed
`
`(1279-050; EDIS Doc. ID 770222) a motion to extend the mediation and joint mediation report
`
`deadlines. The motion is unopposed. See Mot. at 2 (Ground Rule 3.2 Certification) (stating that
`
`the Office of Unfair Import Investigations (“Staff”) “takes no position on the motion”).
`
`Under the procedural schedule, the deadline for the parties to attend a one-day mediation
`
`session was May 6, 2022 and the deadline for the parties to submit a joint report on the
`
`mediation is May 13, 2022. Order No. 17, EDIS Doc. ID 754886 (Oct. 22, 2021). The moving
`
`parties seek to extend these deadlines to June 13, 2022 and June 20, 2022, respectively. Mot. at
`
`1.
`
`The moving parties submit that good cause exists for the requested extensions. Id.
`
`According to Complainants and Respondents, although they “have been actively discussing
`
`
`
`possible resolution and settlement, including an in-person meeting,” these discussions are at an
`
`impasse. Id. In view of this impasse, the moving parties submit “that mediation will be more
`
`effective and constructive once the Private Parties have had the opportunity to review all pre-
`
`hearing briefing.” Id. Prehearing briefing will conclude on June 6, 2022.1
`
`For good cause shown and there being no opposition, Complainants and Respondents’
`
`joint motion (1279-050) to extend the mediation and joint mediation report deadlines is hereby
`
`GRANTED. The parties shall attend a one-day mediation no later than June 13, 2022 and submit
`
`a joint mediation report no later than June 20, 2022.
`
