`
`GRANTING NON-PARTIES MEDIATEK INC.’S AND
`MEDIATEK USA INC.’S UNOPPOSED MOTION FOR
`AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO RESPOND TO SUBPOENAS
`[MOTION DOCKET NO. 1373-002]
`
`
`(October 31, 2023)
`
`On October 30, 2023, non-parties MediaTek Inc. and MediaTek USA Inc. (collectively,
`
`“MediaTek”) jointly moved (“Motion”) for an extension of time to object, to respond, or to move
`
`to limit or to quash the “Subpoena Duces Tecum and Ad Testificandum to MediaTek Inc.” and
`
`the “Subpoena Duces Tecum and Ad Testificandum to MediaTek USA Inc.” issued at the request
`
`of Complainants (the “Subpoenas”). MediaTek seeks an extension to November 20, 2023, “to
`
`allow additional time for MediaTek’s counsel to discuss MediaTek’s objections and possible
`
`responses to the Subpoenas with Complainants’ counsel in an attempt to avoid motion practice.”
`
`(Motion at 2). The motion represents pursuant to Ground Rule 2.2 that OUII Staff Attorney,
`
`Complainants, and Respondents do not oppose the motion. (Id. at 1, 2).
`
`
`
`
`
`
`
`

`

`Because of the unopposed nature of this Motion, and for good cause having been shown,
`
`MediaTek’s Motion is hereby granted.
