`SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given that the U.S. lntemational Trade Commission has
`determined not to review an initial determination (“ID”) (Order No. 19) of the presiding
`administrative law judge (“ALJ”) extending the target date for completion of the above-captioned
`investigation to July 8, 2013.
`

`SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Commission instituted this investigation under
`section 337 ofthe TariffAct of 1930, 19 U.S.C. § 1337, on January 13, 2012, based on a
`complaint filed by Knowles Electronics LLC of Itasca, Illinois. The complaint, as
`supplemented, alleges a violation of section 337 by reason of infringement of certain claims of
`U.S. Patent Nos. 7,439,616 and 8,018,049. 77 Fed. Reg. 2087 (Jan. 13, 2012). The respondents
`are Analog Devices Inc. of Norwood, Massachusetts; Amkor Technology, Inc. of Chandler,
`Arizona; and Avnet, Inc. of Phoenix, Arizona. Id. Subsequently, some of the claims in both of
`the asserted patents were terminated from the investigation.

`On January 7, 2013, the ALJ issued the subject ID (Order No. 19) extending the target
`date for completion of the present investigation by approximately eight Weeks from May 13,
`2013, to July 8, 2013. Pursuant to the new target date, the final initial determination on violation
`Willbe due no later than the close of business on March 8, 2013. No party petitioned for review
`of the ID. The Commission has determined not to review the ID.
`
`The authority for the Commission’s determination is contained in section 337 of the
`TariffAct of 1930, as amended (19 U.S.C. § 1337), and in sections 210.42-.46 ofthe
`C0mmission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure (19 C.F.R. §§ 210.42-.46).
