`We represent Defendant Apple inc. (“Apple”) in the above—referenced action, and write to request a 30-
`day extension—to and including November 12, 2018—to answer, move against or otherwise respond
`to the complaint. Pursuant to the Court's Order dated September 6, 2018 (ECF No. 10), Apple‘s
`response to the complaint is currently due on October 1 l, 2018. Plaintiff‘s counsel has consented to
`Apple's request for an extension.

`The reason for the request is that the parties, pursuant to a recent meet and confer that was conducted in
`response to a letter from Apple‘s counsel, have agreed to share and discuss certain information
`pertaining to the complaint and would like the necessary time to complete that process.
`
`This is the second request for an extension ol’this deadline. The extension will not affect any other
`deadlines.

`For these reasons. Apple respectfully requests that the Court extend the time to answer. move against or
