`
`Hon. Adam W. Silverman J.S.C.
`Supreme Court, State of New York
`County of Greene
`Via Efile 2018-8
`
`Re: Alfeld v. Apex Tool Group, et. al.
`
`EF 2018-8
`
`
`Your Honor,
`
`We represent Plaintiffs in the above referenced action. Today, the parties appeared for a mandatory settlement
`conference before the Hon. Richard Mott in advance of the upcoming trial scheduled for 7/18/22. We are
`pleased to inform the Court that with Judge Mott’s assistance, the parties reached a settlement in principle at
`the conference.
`
`Judge Mott directed that we inform you of the parties’ settlement and that we request the case be removed from
`the trial calendar. Defense counsel will submit to me the closing papers and proposed general releases for
`review and consideration. Our hope is to have all papers signed, settlement funds received, and a stipulation of
`dismissal E-filed within 45 days. It is generally our protocol not to file a dismissal until settlement funds are
`received. We are otherwise guided by the Court.
`
`
`Respectfully,
`
`
`
`Kenneth B. Fromson
