`Why I used the word responsible is
`because two of those organizations are third
`parties. So I'm not, quote, unquote, their boss,
`per se, because they're third parties, but I am
`responsible for the work that needs to be
`accomplished. For example, food service. That's

`So if someone has an issue, either with
`maintenance of a building or needs approval to
`repair something at the building, is it you that
`they address that with?
`A.
`I'm slowing down now. It's a
`combination. They typically would go to the
`director of facilities and, if it's something that
`the director of facilities needs to elevate, then
`they would come to me.
`Q.
`As part of your job duties with these
`teams that we were discussing, do you have to visit
`the premises or the properties, I guess the
`facilities as you described it, on a daily basis?
`A.
`Yes. I -- my office is in 25 Housel
`Avenue, and about three years ago or so -- I have

`No.

`A.
`Yes.
`Q.
`And can you describe or list the three
`facilities that are within the Lyndonville Central

`A.
`Yes. The easiest one would be a third
`building that no students are -- that holds the
`transportation, the buses. Those kind of things.
`The main building, that's 25 Housel Ave, the
`biggest and main. That holds almost all the
`students plus the office -- a lot of offices. With
`the exception right now, the Main Street building
`holds the pre-K, fifth, and sixth grades.

`A.
`Some were some of the things I
`mentioned before, doing budgets, accounts payable,
`payroll, treasurer -- treasury, communications with
`the Board, things like that.
`Q.
`Excuse my ignorance, but where is
`Kendall School District located?
`A.
`I could tell you how I drove there. I
`think the street was called Kendall. It's in the
`Town of Orleans, but it's just past the border of
`Monroe going into the Orleans.
`Q.
`Why is it that you left the Kendall
`School District to come to the Lyndonville School
`District?
`A.
`I did not enjoy that job. It was
`something I wanted to leave.
`Q.
`Did you go directly from the Kendall
`School District to Lyndonville or was there any
`kind of break?
`A.
`There was a break.
`Q.
`How long of a break was there between
`Kendall and Lyndonville?
`A.
`February to January. So ten months.
`Q.
`Is it fair to say that you quit the job

`at Kendall School District?
`A.
`Yes, I quit.
`Q.
`And then from approximately February to
`November you said?
`A.
`No. February to January of the
`following year. January 2nd.
`Q.
`February of what year to January of
`what year?
`A.
`February '17 to January 2nd of '18. I
`needed to complete my certification. They required
`me to do about a three-month internship, which I
`did at -- at -- it's in Monroe County.
`It will come to me in just a minute. The
`internship that I did started around February,
`March, and ended around May over at -- I don't know
`why I can't think of the name of the school. It
`will come to me in a minute.
`Once May came, then I completed the
`requirements for internship. I had to take an
`additional test, I believe, at that point with the
`State of New York. And once I completed that, then
`I became successful with certification. So the
`schooling was just one piece of it.

`
`Q.
`Okay. So just correct me if I'm wrong,
`you quit Kendall School District in February of
`2017 and then started a three-month internship
`program in Monroe County; is that right?
`A.
`That's correct. I'll get you the
`school.
`Q.
`And then the internship program that
`you attended at Monroe County, you said that was a
`school district or a school?
`A.
`School district.
`Q.
`And that program, that internship
`program that you attended, was it a series of
`classes and then a test at the end?
`A.
`No, it was not. It was a requirement
`of doing an internship with key components that
`needed to be part of the internship as a direct
`relationship to the schooling.
`The schooling, the three-year program,
`identified key areas that needed to be
`accomplished. Once those were accomplished, then I
`had to communicate back to the individual from the
`teaching, the school, Brockport State, and show
`competency.

`
`Q.
`So if you could -- I'm a little bit
`confused. So the internship program, were you
`shadowing someone at the school district or working
`with someone to accomplish these goals?
`A.
`Shadowing is not the right word. I
`reported directly into the -- over there they call
`it the assistant superintendent for finance and
`operations, but it was unpaid. But I reported to
`that person.
`And there was the number of areas that I
`needed to accomplish, which that person knew what
`they were, and we developed a plan at Hilton
`Central School District to complete those -- those
`needed competencies, demonstrating these needed
`competencies.
`Q.
`I'm just going to break that down a
`little bit. The internship program, you were
`working with the assistant superintendent for
`finance and operations in order to accomplish
`certain goals.
`Do I have that correct?
`A.
`Yes, I think that -- that could be one
`way to express it, yes.

`
`Q.
`So you participated in this internship
`program. Who is it that assigned you the areas
`that you needed to either develop a plan or
`accomplish a goal?
`A.
`The three-year program identified an --
`actually, two internships. One I completed well
`before then. The second one, the last one, had to
`be completed towards the end of my classes.
`In order to accomplish that, it had to be
`done within a school district. My choice was to go
`see Hilton School District, and they accepted my
`choice. We worked -- I worked at Hilton in order
`to complete the competencies.
`It was under the supervision of the Hilton
`assistant superintendent to finance and operation.
`Once those competencies were shown, then I had to
`go back to Brockport State's professor and then I
`had to demonstrate through the communication from
`the Hilton assistant superintendent of finance and
`operations what I had accomplished.
`And at that point the professor at the
`Brockport State checked off the box, whatever you
`want to call it, and then I met that requirement.
