`The Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC)is an organizationof the Departmentof Defense (DoD) that maintainsthe DefenseEnrollmentand Eligibility
`Reporting System (DEERS) databasewhich is the official source of data on eligibility for military medical care and other eligibilitysystems.

`The DoD strongly supports the enforcementof the ServicemembersCivil ReliefAct (50 USC App. § 3901 et seq, as amended)(SCRA)(formerlyknown as
`the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil ReliefAct of 1940). DMDChas issued hundreds of thousands of "does not possess any informationindicatingthat the
`individual is currently on active duty" responses,and has experiencedonly a small error rate. In the event the individualreferencedabove, or anyfamily
