`PRO HAC VICE ADMISSION – 37 C.F.R. § 42.10

`On December 14, 2012, the Patent Owner (Cuozzo) filed a motion for pro
`
`
`
`hac vice admission of Mr. David A. Skeels, under 37 C.F.R. § 42.10. Any
`
`opposition to that motion was due on January 2, 2013. As of January 9, 2013,
`
`Petitioner has filed no opposition.

`The motion is supported by the declaration of David A. Skeels. Mr. Skeels
`
`states that he has not been suspended or disbarred from practice before any court or
`
`administrative body, that he has never had an application for admission to practice
`
`before any court or administrative body denied, and that no sanction or contempt
`
`citation has been imposed against him by any court or administrative body.
`
`(Declaration ¶¶ 4-6).

`Mr. Skeels further states that he has read and will comply with the Office
`
`Trial Practice Guide and the Board’s Rules of Practice for Trials set forth in part 42
`
`of the Code of Federal Regulations, and that he will be subject to the USPTO Code
`

`of Professional responsibility set forth in 37 C.F.R. §§ 10.20 et seq. and

`disciplinary jurisdiction under 37 C.F.R. § 11.19(a). (Declaration ¶¶ 9-10).

`Mr. Skeels represents that he has practiced law for ten years and that he has
`

`
`served as trial counsel in more than two dozen patent infringement law suits.
`

`(Declaration ¶¶ 1-2). Specifically, Mr. Skeels states that he is familiar with the
`

`
`subject matter of Patent 6,778,074, and that he represents the Cuozzo in four civil
`
`16
`
`litigation involving the same patent. (Declaration ¶ 7).

`On the basis of the foregoing, it is

`ORDERED that Cuozzo’s motion for pro hac vice admission of Mr. David
`

`A. Skeels under 37 C.F.R. § 42.10, is granted.
