`Mr. Vlasis has litigated twelve ITC investigations, including by serving on seven trial
`teams. He consistently takes a leading role in complex, multi-defendant, multi-
`jurisdictional patent litigations, from pre-suit investigation, to case management and
`strategy, oral argument on pre-trial motions, cross-examination at trial, settlement
`negotiation, and briefing on appeal. He has experience with a wide variety of complex
`technologies relating to cellular and wireless communications, various software and
`hardware features and components, medical devices, and health and lifestyle products.
`Representative matters include a variety of work for GE, Samsung, Microsoft, and Under
`Armour.
`
`Mr. Vlasis is also dedicated to pro-bono matters and defending the rights of LGBT
`people and people with HIV. He co-authored an amicus brief in Obergefell v. Hodges, the
`landmark Supreme Court case that terminated same-sex marriage bans. And his
`representation of immigrant clients fighting deportation as a result of the now-repealed
`HIV travel and immigration ban was featured in multiple, international media outlets
`including the Los Angeles Times and the BBC, among others. Mr. Vlasis has been
`recognized for his pro-bono work, which earned Weil the HIV Law Project’s
`Distinguished Pro Bono Legal Service Award.
`
`Mr. Vlasis attended the University of Houston Law Center and was graduated with a J.D.
`in 2006. Mr. Vlasis was also a visiting law student at Pepperdine University. While in law
`school, he served as articles editor for the Houston Law Review, Associate Chief Justice
`of the Honor Court, and research assistant to former law school dean Nancy Rapoport.
`Mr. Vlasis also competed on the Interscholastic Moot Court Team and was a finalist in
`the Blakely Butler Moot Court Competition and quarter finalist in the John Black Moot
`Court Competition. In 2000, Mr. Vlasis was graduated with a B.B.A. in finance and real
`estate from Baylor University, where he served as Chief Justice of the Student Court.

`Prior to joining Weil, Mr. Vlasis worked as a senior accounting analyst at Exxon Mobil
`Corp., where he earned a certificate in Oil & Gas Accounting and was ranked among the
`top tier of employees worldwide.
`
`Mr. Vlasis is a member of the ITC Trial Lawyers Association and the ITC section of the
`American Bar Association. His civic affiliations include service as past Chair of the
`Campaign Board’s Eastern Caucus for the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund and on the
`Levine School of Music Virtuoso Society Steering Committee. He is a member of the
`Human Rights Campaign Federal Club, a past member of the Lambda Legal Liberty
`Circle, and previously served as chairman of the Milby High School Leadership 2000
`Mentoring Program.
