`IPR2016-00045
`Patent 6,233,518 B1
`
`
`On August 20, 2020, Patent Owner sent an email to the Board requesting an
`extension of the deadline to file a request for rehearing of the Final Written
`Decision on remand (Paper 43). Patent Owner made its request pursuant to the
`CARES Act. In the absence of an extension, any request for rehearing would have
`been due 30 days after July 22, 2020, the date of entry of the Final Written
`Decision. See 37 C.F.R. § 42.71(d)(2).
`The Panel has considered Patent Owner’s request, and finds good cause for
`a 30-day extension. Accordingly, the deadline under 37 C.F.R. § 42.71(d)(2) for
`Patent Owner to file a request for rehearing of the Final Written Decision on
`remand (Paper 43) is extended to September 21, 2020.
`
`IT IS SO ORDERED.
