`On August 10, 2016, counsel for Patent Owner e-mailed the Board to
`present a proposal to adjust the due dates in the Scheduling Order. Counsel for
`Patent Owner indicated further that “Petitioner, Aristocrat, currently does not join
`in our proposal.” Among the proposed due dates, counsel for Patent Owner
`proposed moving Due Date 7 to March 20, 2017 from its original date of January
`26, 2017.
`Counsel for Patent Owner has requested to adjust the due dates relatively
`early during the trial period. The Board is also cognizant that the current Due Date
`7 was originally set to coincide with the hearing date for several related cases for
`which trial had already been instituted, and that the Scheduling Order was not
`provided to the parties until after the mailing of the Decision to Institute.
`Accordingly, on these facts, the panel has conferred, and is available for an oral
`hearing on March 6, 2017.
`It is ORDERED that parties are to confer concerning a proposed modified
`schedule for this proceeding;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Patent Owner is authorized to file a three page
`paper to propose and support a modified schedule by August 17, 2016;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Petitioner is authorized to optionally file a three
`page reply by August 23, 2016 limited to proposing and supporting alternatives for
`those dates on which it does not agree with those proposed by Patent Owner; and
`FURTHER ORDERED that the only currently available alternative date for
`Due Date 7 is March 6, 2017. Should either party have a conflict with that date,
`the parties must provide at least three other dates for Due Date 7 that are no later
`than March 6, 2017.
