`
`REASONS FOR ALLOWANCE
`
`3.
`
`The following is an examiner's statement of reasons for allowance:
`
`The primary reason for the allowance of independent claims 1, 2, 50, 51, 52 and
`
`53 is the inclusion of the similar limitations stating " ... enlarging and translating the

`structured electronic document so that the first box is substantially centered on the
`
`touch screen display ... while the first box is enlarged, detecting a second gesture on a
`
`second box other than the first box; and in response to detecting the second gesture,
`
`translating the structured electronic document so that the second box is substantially
`
`centered on the touch screen display" in combination with the other recited features of
`
`the claims, which are not found singularly or in combination with the prior art.

`The closest available prior art references (Chen et al. US 2004/0103371;

`2005/0285880; Barbanson et al. US 2003/0164861 ), particularly Chen et al., disclose of
`
`having a plurality of boxes and displaying the content of one of the boxes enlarged and
`
`centered on the display in response the a selection, however, none of the prior art
`
`teaches of, while the first box is enlarged, translating the webpage/structure document
`
`such that the second box is substantially centered.
`
`The primary reason for the allowance of independent claims 54, 61, 62 and 63 is
`
`the inclusion of the limitations stating that" ... while displaying the displayed window and
`
`the one or more partially hidden windows ... in response to detecting the gesture, move
`
`the displayed window partially or fully off the touch screen display, and move a first
`
`partially hidden window into full view on the touch screen display; and, in response to
`
`detecting a gesture on an icon, enlarging a window of the application in the center of the
`
`touch screen display" in combination with the other recited features of the claims, which
`
`are not found singularly or in combination with the prior art.

`
`The closest available prior art references (Hofmeister US 2006/0284852;

`
`windows that are partially hidden, however, the references fail to teach that in response
`
`to detecting the gesture, moving the displayed window partially or fully off the touch
`
`screen display, and moving a first partially hidden window into full view on the touch
