`Pursuant to the Patent and Trademark Office’s Final Rule Setting and
`
`Adjusting Patent Fees, 78 F.R. 4211, 4234-35, Petitioner UNIFIED PATENTS,
`
`INC. requests a refund in the amount of $18,400 to be paid to Deposit Account
`
`ending in 1430.
`
`On March 22, 2016, Petitioner filed a Petition for Inter Partes Review
`
`(“IPR”) with the USPTO that was assigned case number IPR2016-00789. In
`
`accordance with the fee schedule specified in 37 C.F.R. § 42.15(b), Petitioner
`
`deposited a payment in the amount of $28,600 with the USPTO at the time of the
`
`filing of the Petition to cover associated fees. Petitioner’s payment comprised
`
`$18,400 for post-institution fees.
`
`On September 9, 2016, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board entered judgement
`
`denying institution of Inter Partes Review of the IPR2016-00789. See Paper
`
`No. 8.
