`On May 23, 2016, Lenovo (United States) Inc. (“Petitioner”) filed a petition
`
`for inter partes review of claim 1 of U.S. Patent No. 6,340,803 titled “Computer
`
`Keyswitch,” in accordance with 35 U.S.C. §§ 311-319 and 37 C.F.R. § 42.100 et
`
`seq. (Paper No. 1). Petitioner challenged one claim and, in accordance with the fee
`
`schedule specified in 37 C.F.R. § 42.15(a), prepaid a post-institution fee of
`
`$14,000 calculated as follows:
`

`On November 1, 2016, Petitioner and Patent Owner filed a joint motion to
`
`terminate this proceeding (Paper No. 7), and on November 4, 2016, filed an
`
`amended joint motion to terminate (Paper No. 8). On November 10, 2016, the
`
`Patent Trial and Appeal Board terminated this proceeding prior to a decision on the
`
`merits of the petition (Paper No. 9). Therefore, Petitioner is entitled to receive a
`
`refund of the post-institution fees paid.
`
`Accordingly, Petitioner hereby requests a refund in the total amount of
`
`$14,000, to be paid to deposit account number xx2310.
