`Granting Petitioner’s Motion for
`Pro Hac Vice Admission of Mr. Stephen Smith

`1 This Order addresses the same issues in the above listed proceedings.
`Therefore, we issue one Order to be filed in all of the above listed
`proceedings. The parties, however, are not authorized to use this style of
`filing in subsequent papers.

`On April 26, 2017, Petitioner filed a Corrected Motion for Pro Hac
`Vice Admission of Mr. Stephen Smith (IPR2016-01469, Paper 24; IPR2016-
`01470, Paper 25) and, in support thereof, filed a Declaration of Mr. Smith
`(IPR2016-01469, Ex. 1059; IPR2016-01470, Ex. 1057, “Smith
`Declaration”). Patent Owner had one week to file an opposition (Unified
`Patents, Inc. v. Parallel Iron, LLC, Case IPR2013-00639, Paper 7, 3), but
`did not do so.
`Having considered Petitioner’s Motion and the Smith Declaration, it
`
`is:
`
`ORDERED that Petitioner’s unopposed motion for pro hac vice
`admission of Mr. Smith is granted; Mr. Smith is authorized to represent
`Petitioner only as back-up counsel in the instant proceeding;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Petitioner shall continue to have a
`registered practitioner represent it as lead counsel for the instant proceeding;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. Smith is to comply with the Office
`Patent Trial Practice Guide and the Board’s Rules of Practice for Trials, as
`set forth in Part 42 of Title 37, Code of Federal Regulations; and
`FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. Smith is to be subject to the U.S.
`Patent and Trademark Office’s disciplinary jurisdiction under 37 C.F.R.
`§ 11.19(a), and Rules of Professional Conduct set forth in 37 C.F.R.
`§§ 11.101 et seq.
