`1 Samsung Electronics Company, Ltd. was joined as a party to these
`proceedings via Motions for Joinder in IPR2017-00279, IPR2017-00280,
`IPR2017-00281, and IPR2017-00282.
`2 This Order addresses identical issues in each of four related cases. We
`exercise our discretion to issue one Order to be entered in each case. The
`parties are not authorized to use this style heading in their papers.

`ORDERED that Patent Owner’s unopposed motion for pro hac vice
`admission of Mr. Rolf O. Stadheim (IPR2017-00279, Paper 18; IPR2017-
`00280, Paper 18; IPR2017-00281, Paper 19; IPR2017-00282, Paper 20) is
`granted;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. Stadheim is authorized to represent
`Patent Owner as back-up counsel only;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. Stadheim is to comply with the
`Office Patent Trial Practice Guide and the Board’s Rules of Practice for
`Trials, as set forth in Part 42 of Title 37, Code of Federal Regulations;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. Stadheim is subject to the Office’s
`disciplinary jurisdiction under 37 C.F.R. § 11.19(a), and the USPTO’s Rules
`of Professional Conduct set forth in 37 C.F.R. §§ 11.101 et seq.; and
`FURTHER ORDERED that Patent Owner shall file an updated
`mandatory notice in each of the above-captioned proceedings in accordance
`with 37 C.F.R. § 42.8(b)(3), identifying Mr. Stadheim as back-up counsel.
