`1 Samsung Electronics Company, Ltd. was joined as a party to these
`proceedings via Motions for Joinder in IPR2017-00279, IPR2017-00280,
`IPR2017-00281, and IPR2017-00282.
`2 This decision addresses issues common to the above identified cases.
`Therefore, we exercise our discretion to issue one Order to be filed in each
`case. The parties are not authorized to use this style heading for any papers.

`As authorized by the Board in e-mail correspondence of February 28,
`2018, counsel for Patent Owner, Daniel L. Flamm, filed in each proceeding,
`Patent Owner’s Unopposed Motion for Withdrawal and Substitution of
`Counsel. Paper 20 (“Motion”).3 Patent Owner previously appointed
`Christopher Frerking as lead counsel. Paper 6. Patent Owner now requests
`withdrawal of Mr. Frerking as lead counsel and appointment of Justin J. Lesko
`of the Law Offices of Steven G. Lisa, Ltd. as lead counsel and appointment of
`Rolf O. Stadheim of Stadheim & Grear, Ltd. as backup counsel in each of
`these proceedings. Motion 1. Patent Owner represents that Mr. Lesko is a
`registered practitioner (id.) and that Mr. Stadheim is admitted pro hac vice
`(id.; see also Paper 19). Patent Owner states Petitioner does not oppose the
`Motion. Motion 2.
` Based upon consideration of the motion and the record before us, we
`grant Patent Owner’s unopposed motion to withdraw and substitute counsel.

`ORDERED that Patent Owner’s motion to withdraw Christopher
`Frerking as counsel and to appoint Justin J. Lesko as lead counsel and Rolf O.
`Stadheim as backup counsel (IPR2017-00279, Paper 20; IPR2017-00280,
`Paper 20; IPR2017-00281, Paper 21; IPR2017-00282, Paper 22) is granted;
`and

`FURTHER ORDERED that Patent Owner shall file an updated
`Mandatory Notice and Substitute Power of Attorney in each proceeding
`within three business days of this Order.
