`INTRODUCTION
`I.
`Google LLC (“Google”) filed a Motion for Withdrawal of Counsel in
`the above-listed proceeding. Paper 36 (“Motion” or “Mot.”). We authorized
`the Motion in an email dated October 31, 2018. Patent Owner does not
`oppose the Motion. Mot. 1. For the following reasons, the Motion is
`granted.
`
`ANALYSIS
`II.
`Counsel may withdraw from an inter partes review only with
`authorization from the Board. 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(e). Google requests
`authorization to withdraw Mr. Christopher S. Geyer as back-up counsel.
`Mot. 1. Google represents that it “will continue to be represented by the
`lead and back-up counsel already of record.” Id. Having reviewed the
`Motion, we determine that good cause exists for granting the Motion.
`Google shall file updated mandatory notices removing Mr. Geyer as back-up
`counsel.
`
`III. ORDER
`In consideration of the foregoing, it is hereby:
`ORDERED that the Motion is granted;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. Christopher S. Geyer is withdrawn as
`counsel for Google in the above-listed proceeding; and
`FURTHER ORDERED that Google shall file updated mandatory
`notices removing Mr. Geyer as back-up counsel.
