`
`I. DISCUSSION
`
`On August 18, 2017, we instituted inter partes review with respect to certain
`challenged claims of U.S. Patent No. 7,296,295 B2 (Ex. 1001, “the ’295 patent”).
`Paper 10, 45. Thus, this review is at a very early stage, and we have not yet
`reached the deadline for filing the Patent Owner Response. See Paper 11, 6.
`On October 4, 2017, after receiving our authorization, the parties filed a
`Joint Motion to Terminate this proceeding (Paper 14) and a true copy of the
`parties’ agreement to terminate the proceeding (Ex. 1010). See also Ex. 2001
`(Stipulation of Dismissal). In the Joint Motion to Terminate Proceeding, the
`parties represent that they have settled all of their disputes regarding the ’295
`patent, both here and before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of
`California. Paper 14, 2, 3. Under these circumstances, we determine that it is
`appropriate to terminate this proceeding without rendering any further decision.
`See 35 U.S.C. § 317; 37 C.F.R. § 42.72.
`
`II. ORDER
`
`In consideration of the foregoing, it is hereby:
`ORDERED that the Joint Motion to Terminate Proceeding for this
`proceeding is granted, and this proceeding is hereby terminated.
