`Patent Owner Cottrell, Inc. (“Cottrell”) hereby moves the Board to admit
`
`IPR2017-00962
`Patent No. 7,585,140
`
`Kyle M. Amborn, pro hac vice, in this proceeding under 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(c).
`
`Petitioner has confirmed that it does not oppose this Motion.
`
`Under 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(c), the Board may admit counsel pro hac vice for
`
`good cause, so long as lead counsel is a registered practitioner and subject to any
`
`other conditions the Board requires. This motion satisfies the requirements of
`
`Section 42.10(c), because:
`

`
`Lead counsel, Ryan J. McBrayer, is a registered practitioner.
`
`2. Mr. Amborn is an experienced patent litigator with an established
`
`familiarity with the subject matter at issue here, as shown in his Declaration. See
`
`Cottrell Exhibit 2001.
`
`3.
`
`In particular, Mr. Amborn has been an attorney specializing in patent
`
`litigation for over nine years. Amborn Decl. ¶¶ 2, 4. He is a member in good
`
`standing of the Bar of the State of Washington, as well as the District of
`
`Columbia, and is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal
`
`Circuit. Id. at ¶ 5. Mr. Amborn also has a technical background, having earned a
`
`computer science degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Id. at ¶ 3.
`
`3. Mr. Amborn is also familiar with the subject matter of this case,
`
`having reviewed U.S. Patent No. 7,585,140, its prosecution history and the prior
`
`art of record. Id. at ¶ 10. Mr. Amborn has also reviewed the IPR Petition, the
`
`
`

`subsequent filings, and the declaration offered in support of Boydstun’s petition.

`Id. He is therefore familiar with the underlying technology and the prior art at
`
`issue in this matter. Id. at ¶ 10.

`The remaining information required by the “Order, Authorizing
`
`Motion for Pro Hac Vice Admission, 37 C.F.R. §42.10” in Case IPR2013-00639,
`
`Paper 7, is set forth in Mr. Amborn’s Declaration. See Amborn Decl. ¶¶ 1–10.
`
