`

`IPR2017-01268
`Patent 7,029,774 B1
`
`
`On October 23, 2018, we entered a Final Written Decision in this
`
`proceeding finding that Petitioner has demonstrated, by a preponderance of
`
`the evidence, that claims 15 and 17 of U.S. Patent No. 7,029,774 B1
`
`(“the ’774 patent,” Ex. 1001) are unpatentable as anticipated by Ishikawa1,
`
`but has not demonstrated that claims 1–11 and 15–20 of the ’774 patent are
`
`unpatentable as obvious over Aonuma2 or the combined teachings of
`
`Aonuma and Abe3. Paper 52 (“Decision”). The Decision discusses or cites
`
`information that may be confidential to Petitioner. See Paper 50.
`
`Accordingly, we have entered the Final Written Decision in the Board’s E2E
`
`system as “Board and Parties Only” to afford the parties an opportunity to
`
`identify any confidential information to which we have referred in the
`
`Decision.
`
`Petitioner and Patent Owner are to file jointly, within ten (10)
`
`business days of the entry of this Order, a Notice identifying any
`
`confidential information mentioned in the Decision, or, in the alternative,
`
`stating that the Decision does not contain any confidential information. If
`
`any confidential information is identified, Petitioner and Patent Owner are to
`
`file jointly a proposed redacted Decision with their joint Notice.
`
`We remind the parties that documents in a proceeding may be made
`
`available to the public. 37 C.F.R. § 42.14. The parties may move to
`
`
`1 U.S. Patent App. Pub. No. US 2003/0054203 A1, published
`March 20, 2003 (Ex. 1015).

`(Ex. 1017).

`
`
`
`In consideration of the foregoing, it is hereby:
`
`ORDERED that, within ten (10) business days of the entry of this
`
`Order, Petitioner and Patent Owner are to file jointly a Notice that either
`
`(1) identifies any confidential information that is mentioned in the Final
`
`Written Decision in this proceeding, or (2) states that the Decision does not
`
`contain any confidential information; and
`
`FURTHER ORDERED that, if any confidential information is
`
`identified by the parties as being mentioned in the Final Written Decision,
`
`Patent Owner and Petitioner are to file jointly a proposed redacted Final
`
`Written Decision with their joint Notice.
