`I. RELIEF REQUESTED
`
`Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(e), and as authorized by the Board in an e-mail
`
`dated October 26, 2017, Patent Owner ARRIS Enterprises LLC and Real
`
`Party-in-Interest ARRIS International plc (collectively “ARRIS”) request that the
`
`Board withdraw all attorneys and agents associated with FISH & RICHARDSON P.C.,
`
`who are currently counsel for ARRIS. Specifically, in this inter partes review
`
`proceeding ARRIS requests authorization to withdraw Christopher O. Green as lead
`
`counsel and Jeremy Monaldo and Erin Alper as back-up counsel.
`
`
`
`ARRIS has conferred with Petitioner’s counsel. Petitioner does not oppose
`
`this motion.
`
`II.
`
`STATEMENT OF REASONS FOR SUBSTITUTION OF COUNSEL
`
`ARRIS wishes for current lead counsel Christopher O. Green (Registration
`
`No. 52,964) and current back-up counsel Jeremy Monaldo (Registration No. 58,680)
`
`and Erin Alper (Registration No. 67,205), all of FISH & RICHARDSON P.C., to be
`
`withdrawn and substituted by Robert Sokohl (Registration No. 36,013) as lead
`
`counsel and Chandrika Vira (Registration No. 60,607) and Michelle K. Holoubek
`
`(Registration No. 54,179) as back-up counsel, all of STERNE, KESSLER, GOLDSTEIN
`
`& FOX P.L.L.C.
`
`
`
`ARRIS’s new lead counsel Mr. Sokohl and new back-up counsel Ms. Vira
`
`and Ms. Holoubek meet the requirements of 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(c).

`As ordered by the Board in its e-mail dated October 26, 2017, (1) ARRIS filed
`
`an updated mandatory notice on October 31, 2017 identifying the newly proposed
`
`counsel as back-up counsel, and (2) current lead counsel Christopher O. Green
`
`identified the newly proposed counsel as back-up counsel in PTAB E2E such that
`
`PTAB E2E reflects the newly proposed counsel as additional back-up counsel.
`
`It is believed that granting this Motion will not hinder the economy, the
`
`integrity of the patent system, the efficient administration of the Office, or the ability
`
`of the Office to timely complete this proceeding. See 35 U.S.C. § 316(b).
`
`An executed Power of Attorney has already been filed for ARRIS’s new lead
`
`counsel and back-up counsel.
`
`Updated Mandatory Notices Under 37 C.F.R. §§ 42.8(b)(3) and (b)(4) will be
`
`filed upon grant of the present motion.
