`Counsel may withdraw from an inter partes review proceeding only
`with authorization from the Board. 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(e). Argentum
`Pharmaceuticals LLC (“Petitioner”) received authorization from the Board
`and filed a Motion to Withdraw Counsel and Substitute New Counsel in the
`above-identified proceeding. Paper 13 (“Motion”).
`Petitioner requests withdrawal of lead counsel Michael Houston and
`back-up counsel Joseph Meara, and to substitute Kevin Laurence
`(Registration No. 38,219) as lead counsel and Matthew Phillips (Registration
`No. 43,403) as back-up counsel. Id. at 2. Petitioner represents that Patent
`Owner Cosmo Technologies Ltd. does not oppose the Motion. Id.
`Petitioner also represents that Mr. Laurence and Mr. Phillips meet the
`requirements of 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(c) as registered practitioners. Id. A
`supplemental Power of Attorney has been filed authorizing Mr. Laurence
`and Mr. Phillips to represent Petitioner in this proceeding. Paper 10.
`Because no prejudice is shown and Patent Owner does not oppose the
`proposed withdrawal and substitution of counsel, the Motion is granted.
`It is therefore
`ORDERED that Michael Houston and Joseph Meara are allowed to
`withdraw as counsel from this proceeding;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Kevin Laurence is recognized as lead
`counsel, and Matthew Phillips is recognized as back-up counsel for
`Petitioner; and
`FURTHER ORDERED that Petitioner shall file an updated
`Mandatory Notice within one week of the date of this Order.
