`Pursuant to the minutes of the Scheduling/Status Conference, the parties
`
`submit a brief status report.
`
`The parties have begun the discovery process. The parties are currently
`
`negotiating the form of a confidentiality protective order. The parties are hopeful
`
`that a stipulated form of a protective order will be submitted within the next few
`
`weeks. SPEX has propounded discovery requests on all defendants and has received
`
`responses. Some of the Defendants have also propounded discovery and SPEX has
`
`served responses.
`
`The following petitions for inter partes review of U.S. Patent Nos. 6,088,802
`
`(“the ’802 patent”) and 6,003,135 (“the ’135 patent”) have been filed with the United
`
`States Patent and Trademark Office:
`•! IPR2017-00430: Directed to all claims of the ’802 patent;1
`
`•! IPR2017-00824: Directed to claims 1-3, 6-8, 11-15, 23-28, and 36-39
`
`of the ’802 patent;
`
